Umm --- I just returned from Cuba last week where 80% of the vacationer's were from Montreal.
Umm --- In April I flew to Montreal and was shown the City by a friend. Umm --- Montreal girls are hot!!! Why the fuck do they all smoke cigarettes though? And TS ---- You are such a slut.

....so how did the reunions go, TWOC.....did Ernie show up?......were the Norwegian cousins impressed?It was good. There were 1000 people at the Saturday night event in the lower level of the Science Centre. Am glad I went. Way too noisy to comfortably chat with people, though. Plus there were some people I would have liked to have seen who weren't there. Then again, if I haven't had contact with them in 30 years, it really doesn't matter, does it? Ernie didn't show. The cousins were suitably impressed, but they live in a rural area as well. "Different trees", said Gunnar. I didn't go (besides I was too late to get tickets to April Antics or Pub Night..You could have just gone into the school and seen April Antics and not been challenged for not having registered, I think. It was okay, but it was mostly singing/playing instruments. I would have preferred more skits. A couple of the Frantics did a piece, but even theirs wasn't a skit, which was disappointing. However, I certainly didn't volunteer to do an act, so who am I to complain. Also, Jack Astor's was better than the pub night, because the acoustics in the arena were awful and it was dark. Lots of people sneaked into the arena later in the evening. I'm glad I went, though I would have preferred to have weighed 20 pounds less than I do... Can't blame anyone but myself for that, though - I certainly had plenty of warning. 
Oh, and TWOC--I hope you had a similarly excellent reunion weekend!Thanks. Not excellent, but pretty good. I really enjoyed shopping and wandering around Toronto as well. |
