- Vic ... With snappy yet stunningly substantive rejoinders like that, I'd say you can expect a call very soon from the Just-In Truedope brain trust to recruit you to the team as a policy analyst and speech writer.

BTW ... All kidding aside, how would you compare Harper's and Truedope's responses to the Putin takeover of the Crimea which doesn't seem to be too popular among the more than a million and a quarter Ukrainians now in Canada (3rd largest number of Ukrainians in the world including  Ukraine)?  Which one - Trudeope's bad hockey joke or Harper's expulsion of Russian diplomats, sending Baird to Ukraine and this weekend becoming the first Western leader to visit Ukraine since the phony referendum, giving another $220 million to Ukraine in rebuilding funds, standing tallest among the NATO leaders in condemning Putin's illegal annexation of Crimea, negotiating with our partners in economic sanctions against Russians and freezing Russian bank accounts, etc. - was more to Canada's credit and reputation in the world?  Any serious thoughts on this?
