Turdough was an advocate for avalanche safety and there has been many avalanche related deaths the past few weeks but he's even silent about that topic. Must be because all the victims are Western Canadians.

Seeing as how his brother was killed in an avalanche several years ago, I presume Just-In is still in favour of avalanche safety but perhaps there are not enough votes in it for him to waste his precious time as an advocate.  He's been busy lately, you see, on important matters like getting his hair styled just right (young enough looking to connote sexy and youthful but old enough looking to also suggest experience and wisdom) and learning the latest hockey jokes (not as impressive as writing a book about hockey history as Harper did but hey at least he's trying) and being outfitted in the latest hip middle class chic garb to make the middle class feel he's one of them and practising his speech delivery to fake sincerity (as a former part time drama teacher, this is his forte) and, well, that's about it.   Besides, if he draws attention to all those avalanche deaths it might detract from his credibility on the global warming file inasmuch as some of the increase in these deaths presumably (hey, I don't know much about avalanches) relates to an unusually snowy and cold winter.
