Loved that movie!

If we're talking Scarlett, I also adored 'Lost in Translation'--mind you, that one's not exactly underrated, I guess.

A couple I'm equally crazy about, though it seems like nobody's seen them:

'Auto Focus' starring Greg Kinnear as Bob Crane, aka Hogan of 'Hogan's Heroes'. Wonderfully done! Creepy and funny and surreal and lovely and disturbing at once, all reeled in (pun intended) on a shoestring budget, to boot. Liked this one so much I just bought it on DVD.

'Orange County' featuring Jack Black. Very, very funny. Way funnier than his 'School of Rock' or 'Shallow Hal' or 'Nacho Libre' or whatever film it was that finally made him a 'breakthrough' star, anyway. I think it did about seven-dollars-and-ninety-three-cents at the Box Office, but it's definitely worth a rental.

Two more that aren't necessarily underrated in general, but perhaps were by me before I watched them (i.e., I ended up enjoying them immensely and truly didn't expect to, so fully admit I was wrong).

'Pleasantville' and 'The 40-Year-Old-Virgin'. Neither is anywhere near as bad as the respective titles would suggest, and actually a hell of a lot better.

The former is a bit sappy in parts, but overall a worthwhile view. Very pretty throughout, and one of the few films that goes from black-and-white to colour successfully. The latter drags a bit here and there, but absolutely owns some of the funniest lines in modern cinema:

'Yah Mo burn this place to the ground', 'Is that the Six Million Dollar Man's boss?', 'What are we, Al Qaeda?', 'fuck her and have her send you a cheque for $12 dollars on your birthday', etc... Oh my God, so funny. Almost as funny as 'Office Space'. But to be fair, few movies are as hilarious as that one was, IMO.

So many more, but I can't think of them at the moment...
