Analog television in the United States.
Shame is digitial noise (pixelation) is much more annoying than analog (white static or snow). When there's a storm in my area dozens of channels pixellate until the screen goes blank.

...looks like ~DP will have to bump this week's "artist feature" on the radio show to honour Hugh Hopper instead. Had no idea Hopper was ill. Man, what a bummer. The king of the "fuzz bass". R.I.P. Hugh. |

...and I'm very sad about Koko Taylor's passing. I just noticed this. I was lucky enough to see her perform three times, and to sit
down and chat with her once. She was awesome, IMO.
