Too bad for Martin...there's an old adage that radio DJ's never die, they just keep getting a later time slot. CFNY was Martin's only on air job
and I guess he took his firing pretty hard. The reality is he would have undoubtedly been picked up by someone, somewhere and got on with his life (yes there
is life outside the T.O. radio market)
