Getting banned there is too easy. Someone was impersonating my persona behind my back (most likely for some free drinks and easy tail) and then he died (best bet suicide) and all of a sudden I'm accused of hacking into his account and taking over a dead man's identity. You can't make up conspiracy theories that bizarre.

I just assumed Sooey was trolling on her own site. I mean, it's pretty quiet on Franksters. I can't see how she would feel threatened by this board. Maybe I'm wrong, though. My laptop is out of commission so I haven't been around as much, but I think I did notice a significant drop in traffic over there over the past few months.

I'm not sure what Sooey's strategy was, TWOC, but I don't really care right now, because something far more disturbing has come to my attention.

The other day, before I was banned, I received a friendly message of support from a member there (I wasn't joking, I did actually receive quite a few of those...lol). I guess his only mistake was that he didn't send it on this board, by e-mail, or at Facebook, etc..., because he was then banned from the site. I am posting this information with his permission.

The guy hadn't even posted there in ages, I don't think. He certainly didn't take part in any of those threads. He just happened to have a handle from way back, and so, was able to contact me. There was no other apparent reason for his banning.

Much as I would like to avoid leaping, the only conclusion I can reach is that his private message to me must have been read--by whom, I don't know. And if that's the case, it is truly beyond the pale, IMO. Supremely fucked up.

Anyway, the member in question has contacted OU8 to ask about this, but has gotten no response. So I will ask here: Are moderators able to read private messages at Sooey's, and if so, do they?

Whatever you want to say about Frankstermod or this board, I would like to assure all past and present members that your private messages have always been exactly that--private. Frankstermod cannot and, more importantly, WOULD NOT ever read them.
