Oh...I get it now. Old man creepers wanting to have sex with underage children. That's hillarious. You're still going with that schtick?
Hats for bats. Keep bats warm. Gracias.

Hey, it's only a token vestige on a board that's itself a token vestige... |

And yet you keep coming back.

The posters from the old boards thought you were a fucking idiot too Adma so I don't know why you keep lamenting about it. I don't see you flocking
over to Shelbyville either so I guess they feel the same way. Take the hint and put a gun in your mouth. Underage children who find your creeping rather
repulsive will be much happier if you did.
Hats for bats. Keep bats warm. Gracias.

Cap Anson wrote: I didn't "flock over to Shelbyville" because I was never compelled to "take root" there in the first place; whereas I "took root" here because it was the board that presented itself as the rational continuation of, rather than a reaction to/refuge from, its predecessors. So, it's really by default that I vestigially linger here; I probably would have been more "welcome" in Shelbyville, but by then the most fundamental "action" represented by predecessor boards was shifting away from the Springfield/Shelbyville network, and for reasons a little more complicated than, er, "pervs like me". It's all just an artifact from a primitive early-noughts pre-Myspace/Facebook/Twitter phase of casual web chat and communication, anyway (esp. if one considers "Frankster" as a play on "Friendster"). Put it this way: "the posters from the old boards who thought I was a fucking idiot" are probably far outnumbered by the posters from the old boards who'd think that Franksters at this point is a fucking idiotic marginal lonely-hearts-club enterprise--and believe it or not, I'm more peripheral than central to why it's so. That you're still, in 2009, configuring all of this within the strict closed-world terms of Springfield/Shelbyville as if the rest of the present-day interweb universe didn't matter, is in its way more pathetic than my chosen pervness. And what are you? Just some ordinary-Joe schmuck from the wilds of Trent Hills. You're not even the reason I entered the predecessor-board realm in the first place; and the network that drew me in and led to this here vestigial continuum to the present probably has less use for you than it has for me... |

adma is one of the original posters when the forum was just a few people who shared similar sensibilities and read the magazine. He correctly predicted how
they all decline, it's inevitable and interesting to watch.
I don't know why it's anyone's mission to force people to leave here, I thought the place was set up to be inclusive and welcoming to all "misfit toys" as TS8 put it. |

adma probably foresaw that people would be pushed out by forum toughs, he's like the Amazing Kreskin except not as creepy.

I think Cap should be kicked out for not complying with TS8's misfit toy rule.
Or made a moderator.

...anyway, back to the topic of the thread and someone who was one hell of a "misfit toy" than anybody here...
....drug consumption rivalling Keith Richard/John Phillips/ Johnny Thunders in their prime....$10,000 charged at a single LA pharmacy per month, mega-double doctoring, 40 Xanax per day, potent anesthetic use... and the story is just starting |

I never said anything about Adam leaving the board. I just recomended that he put a gun in his mouth and do the underage children of the world a favor.

Who the fuck cares what "posters from the old boards" might or might not think? Much of that shit is archived on the so-called Wayback machine,
and I assure you, it's about 95% drinkie threads and "Bush-is-a-stoopidhead"-type drooling from moronic NDPers. Apart from the genuinely funny
Chretien parodies, most of the space was filled by people pretending to laugh at shit that wasn't even arguably funny, and, hey, let's whack up some
more no-brainer five-word posts, and then beat the dead McBeckley equine YET AGAIN!
Jesus.

A nonpartisan meeting place for former members and lurkers on the Frank Magazine Forum. Media and politics may dominate our posts at times, but we also favour chat about general subjects from the frivolous to the ridiculous (but very rarely do we achieve that elusive sublime state). Our community tends to take a satiric view of things, so a sense of humour is a must. It's the only real requirement for membership (Okay, there *aren't* any requirements, really). Though we are--for the most part--Canadian, we don't limit topics of discussion to our domestic borders. Here you will find talk about everything from Bush to broadcasting to basket-weaving. If you think this is the site for you, then please feel free to join us. Or just lurk. Your choice, really. If you have a problem with the content, take it up with TS8, she welcomes everything, including the no-brainer posts. As far as hatreds, it's encouraged here - ask your bandannaed pal. How do you think we got rid of most of the posters? |
