Obama makes Jack Layton sound like Teddy Roosevelt, no dispute about that... I've long conceded that Canada has a better national anthem than we do; now I have to go one step further and admit that you hardy northern folk now have a better gummint than we have.... when's the last time one could say that? (Ectually, from 1989 to 6/25/93, but I digress...) But in a broader sense, I blame all this on Creeping Canadianism... little coincidence that BHO visited (wait for it...) OTTAWA early on in the game... not so much a Manchurian Candidate as a Manitobian Candidate, as all set forth with great prescience in the Protocols Of The Learned Elders Of Puslinch.
